AI Bidding Adjustments: How to Tune Your Campaign Bidding for Verified Traffic

What Are AI Bidding Adjustments?

AI Bidding Adjustments allow you to modify bidding signals that platforn's AI bidders use based on the integrity of traffic Vaudit has audited across your campaigns.
Rather than adjusting keyword or audience bids manually, Bidding Adjustments let you optimize AI smart bidding by reducing spend on traffic sources with high fraud levels or low ROAS.

This is part of Vaudit’s Charge Removal Suite, helping you eliminate wasted ad spend before it impacts your invoice.

Where to Find It

  1. Go to your Property Page from your Vaudit Dashboard

  2. Scroll down to the section titled AI Bidding Adjustment

  3. You’ll see a table of campaigns analyzed by Vaudit with the following columns:

    • Campaign Name

    • Device

    • Total Fraud %

    • Identified Category (e.g., High Fraud & Medium ROAS)

    • Bid Modifier (recommended % adjustment)

    • Potential Savings

    • Audited Spend

How to Apply Adjustments

Individual Action

  1. Review each row in the table.

  2. Click Apply Action next to any campaign.

  3. This will apply the suggested bid modifier (e.g., -20%) directly to that campaign’s mobile or web bidding strategy.

  4. You’ll also see the potential savings for each adjustment before you confirm.

 

Note: Each adjustment may have a small cost associated based on your Vaudit pricing structure. This is displayed transparently next to the action.


Apply All Adjustments in One Click

  1. To apply all recommended adjustments at once, click the Apply all Adjustments button at the top right of the module.

  2. This will instantly execute bid tuning across all eligible campaigns shown in the table.


Google’s Automated Bidding Mode

  • If you prefer to rely entirely on Google’s native Smart Bidding, you can toggle Google’s Automated Bidding to “On” — this disables Vaudit’s manual signal control.

  • However, we recommend applying adjustments in tandem with Google’s system when invalid traffic is identified to prevent budget leaks.
