Automatic Blocklist Integration with Google Ads

This guide walks you through how to review, manage, and export IPs, as well as how to send them directly to Google Ads campaigns from within the Vaudit dashboard.

The IP Blocklist feature in Vaudit allows you to take fast, direct action on flagged IPs by pushing them into your Google Ads account, helping you reduce ad waste by excluding known sources of invalid traffic.

Step 1: Access the IP Blocklist

  1. Log into your Vaudit dashboard.

  2. In the left-hand navigation, go to Blacklist.

  3. Here you’ll find the full list of IPs flagged by our audit engine as high-risk or invalid, based on last month’s campaign data.

Step 2: Download or Review the IPs

  • You can click Download CSV to export the list manually.

  • Each IP is ranked by severity and frequency.

  • Use this list to review or share with your ad ops or media buying team.

Step 3: Send IPs to Google Ads

You can send these IPs directly to your Google Ads campaigns from within Vaudit.

To send:

  1. In the Manage Blacklist screen, select all the IPs you would like to add to the IP group for Blocking, or select the top box to Select All.

  2. Click the 'Blacklist' button next to the IP group.

3. Select the Google Ads campaign(s) you want to apply the blocklist to.

2. Confirm the push.

Note:

  • You can currently send to 2 campaigns per day.

  • You can refresh and resend manually to update blocklists as new flagged IPs are detected.

Best Practices

  • We recommend updating your IP blocklist weekly or biweekly.

  • Prioritize campaigns with high volume or suspect traffic patterns.

  • Track improvements in audit performance and refund triggers after exclusions are applied.
